Personal Data Notes

This notice explains the register’s handling of personal information and the limits of its local worksheet.

Who is responsible

Pavilionreelbiscut Heritage Limited, 36 George Street, Edinburgh, EH2 2LE, United Kingdom, company registration number SC824157, is responsible for personal information it processes in connection with this website. Privacy enquiries may be sent to [email protected].

Reading the website

Requesting a page necessarily exposes connection information, such as an IP address, request time, requested file and browser information, to the hosting infrastructure. Hosting providers may process technical logs for delivery, security and fault diagnosis. These technical records are distinct from the enquiry worksheet. The supplied site code contains no analytics, advertising pixels, visitor profiling or external font requests.

The local enquiry worksheet

Subject and message fields are processed in your browser to prepare the preview. The worksheet has no submission endpoint and does not send its contents to us. It does not store drafts in cookies or localStorage. Your browser may retain form state according to its own settings.

Copy text uses your device’s clipboard if available and permitted. Download .txt creates a file on your device. Clipboard history, backups, downloaded files and shared-device access are controlled by your device and services, not this website. Close the page and clear any local copies when using a shared computer.

If you email us

If you independently send an email, we receive your address, message, any supplied name, attachments and ordinary email metadata. We use that information to consider and respond to the enquiry, handle corrections and maintain necessary correspondence. The usual legal basis is our legitimate interest in managing relevant correspondence; legal obligations may apply to particular records. Do not send sensitive personal data or confidential collection material unless an appropriate arrangement has been agreed.

Access, recipients and retention

Information may be handled by authorised personnel and service providers needed for hosting, email delivery, security or professional administration. We do not sell personal information. Disclosure may be necessary to meet a legal obligation or protect legal rights. Correspondence should be retained only as long as needed for its purpose, related record-keeping and applicable legal requirements; retention depends on the nature of the enquiry.

Where a service provider processes personal information outside the United Kingdom, applicable transfer requirements must be met, including appropriate safeguards where required.

Your rights and concerns

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you rights to access, correct or erase personal information, restrict processing, object to processing and receive portable data. These rights are not absolute. We may need proportionate information to confirm identity before acting on a request. If processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

You may raise a concern with us or complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. External websites have their own privacy practices. Read the browser preference notes for information about site storage and browser controls.

Changes

This notice applies to the website features described here. Material changes to data processing should be reflected in an updated notice before the changed processing begins.
